Microsoft’s Xbox Adaptive Controller packaging is now more disability friendly

Let’s wind the clock back shall we? Remember when we introduced the Xbox Adaptive Controller by Microsoft to you back in May? Not only have Microsoft been responsible for bringing gaming back to the disabled community with their own personalised ‘setup’ via jelly bean switches, joysticks, etc., they have now gone to the next level! How? By making the packaging more disability friendly. It’s great to see this initiative. Each element comes with a handle to make it easier to open. So, it is quite possible that someone with limited mobility may be able to open it by themselves without having to rely on someone else to open it for them. Checkout how it works. Microsoft will be releasing this new packaging for their Xbox Adaptive Controller this September!! Let’s hope that this initiative starts to get other companies thinking about how they package their goods too.
